Aermotor Model 612
Aermotor Company
Chicago, Illinois
Manufactured in 1925

A very obscure model made in the 1920's. The difference between this and a standard 602 is in the construction of the hub and gear case. The 612 has no oil collector. Instead a passage is cast into the main casting that carries excess oil from the hub to the case. Note the fatter center section of the hub. The drain plug is located on the windward side of the main casting and the number 612 is also cast into the case there. Everything else is similar to a standard 602.
